The Northwest Junior Golf Foundation has initially focused its efforts on integrating junior golf programs into elementary (grades K-5) and middle (grades 6-8) school's exisitng physical education programs in support of Washington State's Curriculum and Instruction mission at the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.  Although we recognize the schools as a primary avenue for our efforts, we will continue to pursue additional avenues and partnership opportunities for providing the youth of the Pacific Northwest the benefits of junior golf programs which promote life skills and life long activity. 

Participating Schools

The Foundation has an established relationship with the Snoqualmie Valley School District.  This relationship has fostered the integration of our PE Junior Golf Programs into three elementary schools and two middle schools in our organization's short history as of May 2005.  Our plans focus efforts on completing all elementary schools in the SVSD and pursuing additional school districts and youth organizations for intergration of junior golf programs in the Pacific Northwest.

North Bend, Opstad and Fall City Elementary and Snoqualmie and Chief Kanim Middle Schools represent nearly 2,500 students who have been introduced to the PE Junior Golf Programs.  We have also completed the After School Junior Golf Programs at North Bend, Opstad and Fall City Elementary Schools as of May 2005.  We are currently involved in the Snoqualmie Middle School Club Junior Golf Programs which offers students access to continued practice, play and tournament golf at Mt Si Golf Course.
